Preparing for Etsy Made in Canada

Makeology Etsy Made in Canada is just two weeks away (TWO! well actually a little less). Today the Makeology Etsy team got together to get our crafty on. We are lucky enough to have a really great venue (architecturally speaking) with lots of charm, so not a lot is needed to dress it up.

Michelle found these huge yarn spools at a thrift store for $2 each (YEP!). They were a great steal and exactly the colours we needed. We used wooden embroidery hoops to wrap the yarn around.

And we ended up with pretty decorative circle decorations that we will hang throughout the venue.

To integrate the leaf theme we found some great colour appropriate leafs at Dollarama, the colours are just so pretty.

And in true Makeology fashion we cut paper and sewed it into garlands! Wanna see more? Come visit us September 24 at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology from 11am to 5pm 🙂

Huge thanks for the team leaders Helen (Vintage Map Co), Michelle (Kiriki Press) and Adriane (The Wild) for helping out!
